This is the year everything's going to change

I suppose I dropped the ball by making my first post of the year about myself and how you can be more like me despite the fact that a.) this blogge is at least nominally about my wife's pregnancy and our expected child and 2)* I could have at least wished all seven eight (four day old infants can read, yes?) readers a happy new year. Well, friends consider this post to be that theoretical entry that I flubbed. My mistake.
